About Event:

Only 16 tickets will be sold for this unique event where you will discover the encaustic printmaking process while enjoying delicious nibbles and a sampling of
wines to taste.

Encaustic painting and printmaking utilize a special mixture of melted beeswax, resin, and pigment that is a joy to work with. The print you create will be used in assembling a one-of-a-kind hurricane lamp that would make a wonderful gift for a loved one—or for yourself.

Paint a Miracle is delighted to be partnering with Chef Deb Silver, owner of The Silver Shamrocks, to provide a wine tasting experience for you to enjoy either before or after your creative session in the studio. Deb is an accomplished and passionate culinary artist who will delight your senses.

Paint a Miracle’s new encaustic studio is one of only a few in Southeast Michigan and open to the public. By opening this studio to the public, we are also able to bring this programming to our low-income artists living with disabilities. Made possible by a grant from The Abrams Foundation, this encaustic studio was created with the purpose of providing relaxing and transformative art experiences.

Encaustic painting is a unique form of art using melted wax which both engages all the senses and provides a sense of peace.
