Ways to Help & Get Involved
Donate to Support our Programs
Paint a Miracle began as a way to give people living with disabilities meaningful work and a sense of community through the visual arts. We started with a class of four artists and have grown to serve close to 500 artists each year. Generous supporters like you have made this vision a reality, helping our artists discover and share their gifts through the creation, exhibition, and sale of fine art.
Because our goal is to increase access to the arts for all persons with disabilities, we discount class fees and provide scholarships to those unable to pay. The vast majority of our artists are low income, and, for many, Paint a Miracle is the only activity that gets them out of the house each week. This need for connection is vital. Your donations directly benefit our artists by providing them with artistic opportunities, a new vocation, and a place to call home. A gift of any amount is appreciated and will help our artists continue to pursue their dreams. Thank you for your support!
Make a Memorial Donation

Carole Jo Lasser Scholarship Fund
Carole Jo Lasser was an artist at Paint a Miracle for over 6 years, and she brought creativity, humor, and encouragement to our studio. Carole passed away on June 26, 2016. She is greatly missed by our artists, staff, and volunteers, but she will never be forgotten. On June 27, 2016, her family set up a scholarship fund in her memory to support low income artists living with disabilities.
Special Events
Paint a Miracle also seeks individuals and companies to sponsor various special events throughout the year. For example, each year we host an annual fundraising luncheon and art exhibition featuring over 800 pieces of our artists’ original work.
Sponsor an Artist
Paint a Miracle is always looking for patrons to sponsor our artists. Most Paint a Miracle artists qualify as low income due to the fact that their disability prevents them from gainful employment. Consequently, they cannot afford the cost of classes and require financial assistance to participate.
