Mixed Media Acrylic Watercolor Lesson

Overview:

The art-term “mix media” can mean an assortment of different medias used on one piece of artwork. In our case we will only be focusing on two; watercolor and acrylic. After our watercolor painting dries, we will add our white acrylic paint. 

Supplies: 

  • Watercolor paint set

  • Watercolor paintbrushes (large round)

  • Acrylic white and black paint

  • An acrylic paintbrush (small round)

  • Watercolor paper (1, 8’x10’)

  • A palette to mix

  • A container of water

  • Paper towel
