RACHEL EMERSON

Rachel lost a majority of her vision in 2009 after multiple brain surgeries. She became depressed and angry for some time. Paint a Miracle has helped her to realize she can still express herself through the various art forms that are offered. While creating new pieces she has worked through some of the negative emotions she has struggled with. Rachel loves animals, especially her dog Bella and has created many beautiful paintings of her. She also loves the color blue which you can see in most of her art. Her "sky" paintings are captivating and hauntingly beautiful. The time she spends at Art class has been a wonderful outlet for her and is something she looks forward to!
