MEVLUDI “LUDI” KULLOLI

Ludi, originally from Albania, suffered a traumatic brain injury shortly after her arrival in the U.S. She arrived with her very young children, her husband still in Albania.

With time, and incredibly hard work, Ludi survived but was left with many disabilities. She continues to suffer from extreme headaches and pain, sensitivity to light and noise, depression and fatigue.

Much of Ludi’s work is inspired by her life experience, her pain, her wishes and fears. Although her subject matter can be hard, Ludi’s artistic abilities show these themes with beauty and grace.
